F1 Cavapoos are from a breeding of a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and a Poodle. F1B Cavapoos are a Cavapoo bred back to one of their parent breeds. OUR F1B Cavapoos are a Cavapoo bred to a Poodle. We started raising F1B Cavapoos mostly for allergy sufferers, as this does give them an even greater chance of having a non shed coat. We have also had many people specifically wanting a curly coat, looking for that "teddy bear" look. The Cavapoos from a F1B cross have a better chance of having a curly coat. With the F1 Cavapoos (Cavalier bred to Poodle) coats vary. All will be at least wavy, with some being more curly than others, and there is no way to predict their coat. Only time will tell exactly how curly it will be. We have found the temperament of F1B Cavapoos to be very similar to that of a Cavapoo from a F1 cross. They are very sweet, friendly, social and HIGHLY intelligent. They are wonderful family dogs!
