We want to thank Rick and Cheryl for providing us with the dearest, sweetest and happiest little dog. Our puppy, now 18 mos. old, is in excellent health, smart and is the entire neighborhoods best friend. Charley (yes, she is a little girl named Charley) has given our family much pleasure as well as my dad who recently took ill. We just wanted to let you know that Harley has settled in his new home and we love him so much. He

is everything we ever wanted in a Cavalier and so much more!! We are already so attached to him and

cannot imagine life without him. He is so smart, cute, and very lovable. He immediately bonded with

me and is my shadow every step I make and loves to snuggle all the time. Thank you for such a

Harley is doing very well at the potty training and is so smart! When we talk to him, he looks us

right in the eyes. We took him to the vet today and they said he is very healthy and one of the

most beautiful Cavaliers they have ever seen! We cannot take him any where without someone stopping

to pet him and ask about him. He sleeps right on my pillow and always has to have his head snuggled

on my neck. I wanted a snuggler and he definitely likes to be close to me all the time.

We want to thank Rick and Cheryl for the wonderful addition to our family, Cooper. He is the highlight of our lives. We wouldnt know what to do without him. He is truly a joy to have, to hold and play with. Rick and Cheryl were fabulous to deal with. I had sent several e-mails asking a lot of questions before we decided to purchase a Cavalier as this was our first one. Cheryl was absolutely wonderful about getting back to me in a timely manner and answering a lot of questions that we had. Cooper is now 6 months old and I still e-mail Cheryl on occasion and she is great about getting back to me. Cooper is doing great, is in wonderful health, and is good puppy. He is very smart and has gone through some puppy training and has caught on very well to the things he has learned. We take him everywhere with us that we can. He loves to snuggle and jump from lap to lap. He loves the attention and is a great car rider. We cant go anywhere without people stopping us and asking what kind of dog he is and commenting on how cute he is.

Hi Rick and Cheryl,

I thought that you may want to know this.

We took Carlton and James to vet today (1st for Carlton, 2nd time for James). Our vet told us that both Carlton and James are in good health. He praised you (our breeder) for all the cares you have give them. He said that you have done such a good job to ensure the puppies in excellent condition. He even asked about your name. :). I told him all the wonderful experiences that I had with you through the entire process. I want to thank you again.

James now weighs 6.1 lbs while Carlton weighs 3.1 lbs. They get along very well. In fact, they sit at our laps or take a break in the big crate (under supervision) together although I crate them separately during the night or whenever we are not around. They enjoy each other's company very much. James is such sweet boy. He lets the little fisty Carlton to have his way. Carlton is tiny but he bosses a bit. He demands that James plays with him even if James is tired. :)

Happy as Can Be!

Words cannot tell you how happy we are with our little Chloe. Our experience was much easier and nicer than ever expected. Our little girl arrived happy and healthy and very loving. She is beautiful and exactly as Cheryl and Rick described! Every concern about buying a puppy on the internet was put to rest and every question was quickly answered by Cheryl and Rick - I certainly can highly recommend these lovely people to help you find the perfect forever Cav.

I adopted a little Black and Tan girl from Spring Valley Cavaliers. She is just like the breed standered and has no white marks. She has been such a joy! She is every outgoing and loves all people, places, and dogs. The buying process was very easy. Cheryl took pictures of the puppies whenever i asked for them and answered all of my questions. I highly recommend this breeder.

My husband and I recently purchased a puppy from Cheryl and Rick. He is 8 wks old and we are so happy with him. He was a birthday present for our 2 year old daughter and she just absolutely adores him. He is wonderful with her too. He chases her around the house and she squeals. So far he has been doing pretty good with the potty training and seems to be very smart...he catches on quickly and whenever I tell him "no" he listens. The whole process went very smoothly. Cheryl answered all my questions willingly and really put my mind at ease about buying a puppy over the internet. I found them to be very straightforward and honest. There were some breeders who after talking with them gave me an uneasy feeling about buying from them. I got the exact opposite of that from Cheryl. She is wonderful. I recently purchased a male tri-colored cav (8 weeks) from Spring Valley Cavaliers. It was such a pleasure talking and emailing with Cheryl and Rick. They are very knowledgable with the breed and the puppy exceeded all of my expectations. Cheryl and Rick went out of their way to arrange a flight for my puppy to travel to me. The puppy is healthy and completely adorable (and well socialized). Cheryl was also very prompt with replying to emails - I had so many questions and she always returned my emails immediately! I also received pictures of my baby every few days from them. You will not be disappointed getting a puppy from Spring Valley Cavaliers! Thank you Cheryl and Rick!!

I wrote a glowing review when I obtained my first tri-colored Cav 'Scooter' from Rick and Cheryl. I just have to add yet another wonderful review for Spring Valley Cavaliers! I got my second puppy - a male Blenheim that I named 'Moped' a while ago. Mo is about 8 months now and is the MOST affectionate daddy's boy - if you can believe it, I thought Scoot was the pinnacle of the 'ultimate lap dog.' You will NOT be disappointed getting a pupppy from Rick and Cheryl - their puppies are all healthy and socialized. I credit Rick and Cheryl with helping me find the right puppy and always being there to answer any questions I have. Just wanted to let you know that we took Ty yesterday for a puppy check-up and he passed with flying colors! The doctor said you guys have done a great job with him and his breed. She said he is just beautiful! He weighs 4.4 pds and is perfect. The vet is very nice and we also got a lot of freebies! That always helps. Including a brand new bag of puppy food from pro plan. Dear Rick and Cheryl:

I want to thank you for bringing so much joy into my life with your sweet dogs. I got Scooter (tri-color) in 2006, Moped (blenheim) in 2007 and now today I just picked up Vespa (black and tan) from the airport. I cannot imagine living without Scooter and Moped, they brought much needed love into my hectic life. Your dogs have such amazing temperaments - so loving, so calm and so beautiful. Scooter and Moped gets complimented by everyone on their daily walks. They can run around like crazy chasing after squirrels, but turn into the most amazing lap dogs back in the house. I can't wait to see how little Vespa fits into the family, since my lap is already taken over by the other two!

All your puppies come extremely well socialized - right out of the crate Vespa was already following me around and giving me puppy kisses. In a brief time-out, the little 8 week old pup just curls up and fall asleep without a squeak! Thank you for always being there to answer any questions. I travel a lot for work and these are the perfect dogs to come with me everywhere I go. Scooter alone has traveled from your home to my temporary apartment in Austin, TX. Then from Austin to LA to Key West, back to LA, to Denver, to Mexico, to DC - flying, driving, escaping from hurricanes...nothing fazes these dogs as long as they're with me.

I cannot express my appreciation and gratitude - I hope that anyone considering a puppy would decide on a Cav and know that Spring Valley Cavalier is the best! I am so fortunate and that's thanks to Rick and Cheryl! I'm going to go check on the new puppy now...if I can get Scooter and Moped off my lap!

Just a update Kara is doing great Really great everyone who meets her falls for her. Today we took her to beach she loves running in the surf Really likes it ! ! ! She is totally housebroken and every night at 11 she goes in her crate and sleeps to the AM . Kara is a real joy From second night sleeps all night in crate and never a peep from her. She is playful and a real nice addition to our house

I am extremely satisfied with Spring Valley Cavaliers. I have dreamed about adopting an all ruby male Cavalier since I was a little girl- Cavaliers are just so adorable and family friendly. Now that I was ready to adopt I made sure to find a responsible and professional breeder and I couldnt expect to find my dream dog, sex, color & breed, at just any pet store. Rick and Cheryl were extremely helpful and the process of adopting Maverick went smoothly and perfectly. As a third year law student I also appreciated the thoroughness of the contract and that all of my questions were answered in a timely manner, allowing me to feel comfortable about the adoption process. I had him flown out to me in Florida and Im happy he was comfortable during his travels & arrived ready to cuddle and love!

We had our first vet appointment on the same day we got him. Maverick had a full physical work up and I was overjoyed to confirm that he was in absolute perfect health!!! Before I got him Rick and Cheryl made sure that received any treatments and puppy shots necessary to maintain his health. I also chose to have him neutered. I was able to tell the vet exactly what veterinary care he received before I got him with the information provided to me. I set him up on a puppy wellness plan with the veterinarian for the remainder of the vaccinations and veterinary care he will need as he grows.

About Maverick: Rick and Cheryl described him to me perfectly. He is very calm and very very sweet. He is also very playful and loves all of his toys. I paper trained Maverick in just 3 days- he is such a smart puppy!! Im sure he was socialized and loved a great deal in Missouri. I am working on getting him to be more comfortable relieving himself outside but still its been only been one week since I got him and has the hang on of it for the most part w/ only a few accidents inside (thats what the paper is for- late nights when I cant take him out). I have chosen to have him on an all USDA organic and natural foods diet to keep him healthy and strong because I love him so so much and I cant say Thank you enough!!!!!!!

We couldn't decide what to name her and I remember your daughter was a little girl and a sweetheart, and named Emily. I have two boys so I had to name her a girl name I would have named a daughter as well !

Wonderful Breeder!!!!! Words cannot express how wonderful this breeder is!! This is our second little pup from Spring Valley Cavaliers. Eight years ago we got our sweet little tri color, Hadley and we knew exactly where we were going for our second….Derby, the cutest little Blenheim. Rick and Cheryl are amazing!!! We saw pictures along each step of the way until we could get him. They were so knowledgeable and quickly responded to all of my questions and emails. I really felt that I was dealing with a wonderful family that cared about our new little baby as opposed to a business transaction. They even had him neutered and micro chipped with their vet! It was so nice to be able to see Derby's mom and dad and the amazing living quarters for all of the dogs. I highly recommend Spring Valley Cavaliers. You will not be disappointed!!!

I just thought I would update you both on Jackson. He is absolutely PERFECT! He is completely potty trained, crate trained, etc. he's still a bit selective on "come" but I don't think it's because he doesn't know what to do :)

This is Lindsey, Carl's wife. We are LOVING Dany. Oh my goodness, our hearts our so full. Carl forwarded me your recent email. I am so sorry I am just now responding. Thank you for the clarification on her shots and heartworm/flea medication. We will certainly follow through on that. She has adjusted so well. She is doing great with potty training, too!! We are still at my parent's house, so she is loving having lots of doggies to play with! I have attached a picture of Dany cuddled up with my sister's Boston Terrier, Hamilton. Dany is so happy and full of life. We are in love!

What shampoo do you use? She smelled amazing!! And still does!

Hi Cheryl and Rick!

I hope your busy week has gone smoothly. I wanted to update you on Olive's first days at home. She has been a joy and the perfect addition to my home. I have enjoyed watching her personality come out as she becomes more comfortable. Some of our highlights:

Olive has done very well with nighttime crate training. She only wakes up once per night to potty and goes right back to sleep in her crate beside my bed.
Our walks along Chicago's lakefront have frequently rests with enthusiastic strangers wanting to see and pet her. Her little tail wags like crazy every time she meets someone new.
We went to the vet on Thursday. They loved her! She had a great check-up and will go back in four weeks for her next round of shots. Thank you for letting me know about the flea and tick medicine. She'll be right on schedule for the next application when we return to the vet. The vet also agreed with your choice of Royal Canin for her food, and they also carry the brand.
Potty training has been a challenge, as I knew it would be. She uses the puppy pads about 50% of the time but we're making progress! :)

Olive is the most affectionate, healthy, loving pup. Thank you for everything you did to prepare her for my home. Many people have asked why I drove almost 1,000 miles roundtrip to get her, and I tell them about the responsible and loving way you breed your dogs. Best decision I could have made!

Hi Rick and Cheryl, just wanted to send some new pictures of our sweet Holly. Hard to believe she's already a year old! She weighs 10lbs, right where you predicted she would be. She's smart, friendly, playful, and very very spoiled :) And as you can see, she's adorable too! We just love her!
